Uses:

Showerseal seals existing shower recesses and bathrooms without having to lift the tiles.
Showerseal is clear and and does not discolour the tiles, nor will it make the tiles slippery.

Health Effects

Swallowed: Moderately toxic, can cause vomiting, diarrhoea and drowsiness. Aspiration of vomited material can be very hazardous, can cause pneumonitis.

Eye's: Can cause irritation, flush with large amounts of water, holding lid open to ensure any trapped product maybe flushed away. If Irritation continues seek medical advise.

Skin: Prolonged or repeated contact may cause dermatitis, can irritate.

Inhaled: Low toxicity: may cause headache and nausea.

First Aid

Swallowed: Do not induce vomiting. Give water to drink, seek immediate medical assistance. If Aspiration of vomited material occurs, seek immediate medical aid.

Eye: Flush with large amounts of water, holding lid open to ensure any trapped product maybe flushed away. If Irritation persists seek medical advise.

Skin: Wash with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before re-use.

Inhaled: Move to fresh air, keep person warm and at rest. If unconscious administer oxygen. If breathing has stopped, apply artificial respiration. Seek immediate medical assistance.

Apply in well ventilated areas.
The use of protective clothing, googles and solvent resistant gloves is recommended.

TLV-TWA: 150 ppm.

Ventilation

Local exhaust ventilation is required if concentration is likely to exceed TLV.

Safe Handling Information

Storage and Transport

Store in cool dry area, away from direct sunlight and all sources of ignition and oxidising materials.
Suitable containers: Plain metal cans as recommended by manufacturer.
Ensure containers are labeled, sealed and leak free.
Store in original containers.

Spills and Disposal

Spills: Eliminate all sources of ignition. Contain spilliage immediately and absorb with straw, sawdust or sand, shovel into suitably labeled containers and dispose of in accordance to local council regulations.
Do not allow product to enter drains or waterways.
