Uses:

Liquid adhesion enhancer (bonding agent) and primer for subsequent architectural coatings and renders.

Health Warning Information

Health Effects

Swallowed: Irritating and nauseating. Single dose oral toxicity is regarded as low.

Eye's: Irritating, Corneal damage is unlikely.

Skin Contact: Minor irritation, prolonged contact should be avoided.

Inhaled: Can be irritating, adverse effects not anticipated.

First Aid

Inhalation: Unlikely due to the nature of the product. Move person to fresh air. If breathing stops, apply artificial respiration. Seek immediate medical advise.

Eye: Flush eye's with clean water holding open to remove product from eye lid. Seek medical help if symptoms persist.

Ingestion: Give milk or water to drink, seek medical attention.

Advice to Doctor

Treat Symptomatically.

Precautions in Use

Low risk. Observe normal industrial hygiene and precautions.

Exposure Limits

The product contains residual traces of styrene, ethyl benzene and 1,3 butadiene. Observe exposure standards:
Styrene: TWA 50 ppm (213 mg/m3) STEL 100 ppm (426 mg/m3)
Etyk Benzene: TWA 100 ppm (434 mg/m3) STEL 125 ppm (543 mg/m3)
1.3 Butadiene: TWA 10 ppm (434 mg/m3) CC2 Carciogen catagory 2.

Ventilation

Ensure adequate fresh ventilation exists . If person is affected by volatiles or smell, (low odour) then remove to fresh air.

Personal Protection

Face mask, goggles (against splashes) and rubber gloves are recommended.
If spraying in confined areas or in misty conditions use an approved mist respirator.
Coveralls and industrial footwear.

Safe Handling Information

Storage and Transport

Store undercover in a cool dry place. Do not allow the product to freeze.
Not considered as a dangerous material for storage purposes.
Suitable containers: Plastic pails as recommended by manufacturer.

Spills and Disposal

Spills: Apply sand to spills and dispose in land fill in accordance with the local council regulation.

Disposal: Can be eliminated from sewage / effluent by chemical flocculation.

Fire / Explosion Hazard

Product is water based no direct hazard.
