Uses
This system is designed to provide an anti-slip, trafficable waterproofing system. The Multithane UV is the waterproofing membrane and the ROCKTUFF is the trafficable anti-slip coating. Each can be used independently for their respective purpose, but together they provide a waterproofing membrane that can be walked on with the added benefit of an anti-slip finish.
Typical uses include: Roofs, podiums, patios, balconies & terraces, decks, plant rooms, garbage storage areas, behind bar and kitchen counters and wash bays.
Suitable Surfaces
Suitable for most primed building substrates including:
Concret, cement. cement render, FC and CFC Sheeting, timber, bitumen, brick and masonry. In this instance, ROCKTUFF is applied on top of Multithane Uv so so more details refer to the suitable substrates listed underMultithane UV data sheet.
Specification
The information contained in this product data sheet is typical but does not constitute a full specification as conditions and specific requirements may vary from project to project. The instructions should be considered as a minimum requirement but the applicator or contractor must use their skill, knowledge and experience to carry out additional works as may be necessary to meet the requirements of the project. Specification for specific projects should be sought from the Company in writing.
Limitations
Multithane UV is very flexible and Rocktuff has a lower flexibility than Multithane UV. Therefore, the flexibilty of the system is limited to that of Rocktuff. Cracks, joints and expansion joints must be independently waterproofed as the above system may not tolerate moderate to excessive movement over long periods. The system is designed for normal foot traffic. Point loads such as stilleto heels, sharps, table legs and chairs may damage the membrane.
